Ryan Cake Studios runs the free games at cakecade.com. You never need an account to play, and we don't ask for your email, real name or location.

What stays on your device

Games save your progress, coins, best times, settings and sound preference in your browser's local storage. That data never leaves your device unless you post a score (below). Clearing your browser's site data erases it.

Leaderboards and online play

If you post a score, we store the nickname you type, your score, the game and a random ID for your browser, using Supabase. Nicknames are public, so please don't use your real name. To stop spam we keep a one-way scrambled version of your internet address, never the address itself. Online matches pass game moves between players in real time and aren't stored, apart from short match logs (moves and timings, no names) that help us fix bugs.

Visitor counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies and doesn't track individual visitors.

Ads

Some games may show an ad between rounds, served by Google AdSense or by the game portal you're playing on. We ask Google for non-personalized ads, which are chosen from the page you're on rather than your browsing history. Google may still use cookies or similar technology to limit how often you see an ad, measure ads and prevent fraud. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and manage ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

Kids

Our games are made for all ages. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. The only thing a player can type is a leaderboard nickname, and names are checked against a word filter.
